Lake Emily Public Access Boat Landing - Bates Access

Chicaugon Lake Public Access Boat Landing - Bates Access

This property was donated to Bates Township by the late Tony Andreski.  On September 28, 2005 a project including a “shallow access” boat landing, on the north shore was completed by Alex Atanasoff as an Eagle Scout project.  Atanasoff organized the project, which included a donation of the first layer of gravel by Dr. Robert Han, the use of equipment and miscellaneous items by Krist Oil, a bench from the Chicaugon Lake Association, and a monetary donation from Iron County Wildlife Unlimited. The landing is capable of handling small boats, canoes or kayaks.
